[QUOTE=UncleDude;17006511]Here’s the German Porsche Finder.

Currently 58 GTS models. Very interesting to see how they’re spec’d on the exterior. I’ve seen only Spyders and GT4’s in person, which have very little wheel gap so I’m also looking at that. Most of the listings indicate if they went with the higher (higher!) suspension spec.[QUOTE]

This is a goldmine, much better than the Porsche configurator. Thank you for the search!

As far as I can tell, with the Racetex interior that you have chosen the shifter is also Racetex. But the optional Brushed Aluminium shifter **** is Leather (as is the GT wheel). So if you choose the GT wheel you are allowed to choose/substitute the shifter **** to Brushed Aluminium/Leather to match the wheel.

Thanks Jerry that does make more sense. I’ll confirm with my SA tomorrow.

My opinion? White looks good. The others I worry I would tire of between the day the order froze and the day I took delivery.

Which exterior colors other than GT Silver go with the Black/Bordeaux interior for a Boxster? Agate, white, black, chalk, the blues,...?
Does the red top match the Bordeaux interior? If not, what does it match (go with)?

It's my favorite interior with chalk, but I think it's great with any blacks or whites. My personal taste was to pair it with the darker blues (if sapphire blue was still an option I think it would be too light). I think gentian is borderline getting too light, but it's what I did and I'm happy. I thought the black top was the better option with gentian.

^Yes, remember that. Looks great. Did you get a chance to see the blue top next to Gentian or NBM before deciding on a black top?

Went to a dealer yesterday. Saw Python and Night Blue — they’re out. Saw gt silver 992 cab with blk/bordeaux interior in showroom and was stunned by the combo. At this point it has come down to Black/Bordeaux interior with either GT Silver, Agate or Chalk, silver or black wheels, red or black top. Thoughts welcome.

No, I wish I could have seen red and blue tops in person. My concern was that I like my shades of colors to match exactly or contrast. I love the red and blue tops with with GT Silver, but didn't think I'd like blue with either blue. I also wasn't so sure about the red top with bordeaux if they don't match.

I like the GT silver with black/bordeaux, silver wheels and red top. My dealer has had a sold Spyder in GT silver in the showroom with the spyder classic interior for a few weeks and it's one of my favorite combinations. I think it might even look better with black/bordeaux because the black makes a nice transition. I think on that combo I would really think about the extended dash trim to give additional bordeaux stitching. I also like the silver wheels on your options because with the GT silver it's like the tires become a black accent color.

On the painted classic wheels I haven't been a huge fan for myself, but respect the boldness of doing it on a bright color. I think it works nicely on silvers, whites, blacks, and greys. I'd especially consider it on GT silver. The wife is currently looking at a Macan with similar wheels painted in volcano grey to match the paint. It surprised me how much I like it, but it has a silver lip on the wheel and silver window trim so it sort of ties together. My biggest concern with the painted classic wheels is how swirled the paint would get and whether they'd need paint correction periodically. I had considered gloss black classic wheels on my GTS but avoided them for that reason since it's my daily driver. I didn't really find any information one way or the other on how they hold up in searching on forums.

Agate with silver wheels, bordeaux interior and the red top would be lovely, and unique.
