I’ve never understood how one colour is sporty and one not. I think that looks great.
Thanks man!! I will admit. This was the combo I kept coming up with. But since I have been really researching this site, I am going in all directions!!! A slightly different iteration. Bordeaux and Turbo wheels!! Not bad. I kinda like this one. I can get close to this with GT Silver Metallic and save 2 grand.
Standard wheels look much better than turbo wheels with any color combo. Blk/bordeaux interior with chalk will look stunning, much better than chalk interior. Of course, works great with GT silver too, and saves 2k.

Go with Gt Silver and standard wheels and BAM....$4k+ in savings!!!!

Yes, classic. Post #273 here. I recently saw that combo on a 992 cab in a showroom and was floored by how stunning it looked. Red or black top. No wonder it’s the Spyder Classic combo, and also the Boxster 25th color combo.
I like it. Espresso looks very dark, almost black, under that cloudy sky. I wonder how Espresso/Cognac would have looked as in my post #272 here. Have yet to see a pic of Espresso/Cognac, Aurum wheels, and brown top:
Trying to finalize my build before sending to the dealer and although I think I've settled on Night Blue for the exterior color, am waffling a bit on interior, specifically between Graphite Blue and Black/Chalk:
Night Blue w/ Graphite Blue Graphite Blue Interior Night Blue w/ Chalk-Black Interior Chalk/Black Interior
At the outset, my thought was to avoid a black interior as I thought it would clash with the Night Blue exterior. Accordingly, I was going to go with the graphite blue (as I've read here and elsewhere that the the Agate Grey was a bit too drab). The more I played with the configurator and looked at others' creations, I liked the way in which the Chalk compliments the Night Blue but am concerned that the black will clash with the night blue exterior. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as the dealers near me are all stocked out so the last time I visited I wasn't able to get any good in-person comparisons. I'm not happy that there's a bit of black in the shifter leather and parts of the center console irrespective of my selection but it doesn't appear as if there are any work-arounds for those items.
And if I might, on the subject of black clashing with blue, any concern with the satin black rims given the night blue exterior? I think it looks alright on the configurator but always appreciate the thoughts of others.
Black does not clash blue. Personally not a fan of blue interior. Have you seen it in person? The configurator is all but useless for actual representation of colors. For Night Blue exterior, I’d go with silver wheels and espresso/cognac, black/chalk, or plain black interior. The last two interiors would also go with non-silver (black, platinum) wheels.
I strongly recommend that you try to see these colors in person. Good luck!
I don't really think black would clash with anything...that is the beauty of it. With that said, I really do like the chalk interior. My only "complaint", for lack of a better word, is that it makes the car look really classy or luxurious. If you are going for that look, then it looks fantastic. If you are going for a more sports car look, I think it might go away from that intent. Luxir Beige might be another option or the Bordeaux/Black might even work....if you are looking for a bit of contrast!
The new configurator is getting completed with the new more realistic pics. Aventurine Green, Espresso/Cognac, Brown top, Aurum wheels is one hot Boxster!
