I bet that won’t be an issue with the C8 ZO6 NA motor.
The NA cars were overheating as well, I remember a track day a few years ago where there were 3 cars in the pit with their hoods up, 2 Grandsports and a Stingray, all C7. All 3 had overheating problems about 10 min into the session. I was never a fan of the Corvette but that pretty much turned me off of any GM products for a very long time to come. Porsche doesn't make perfect cars but man are they incredibly reliable on and off the track. I've had over 50 track days under my belt with Porsche products and never once did I have to leave a track day early because of a failure, except a few times because of excessively worn tires.

Man...for the C8 to have a reputation of understeer, it is downright IMPRESSIVE that it shares a lap time with a 718 GT4 on superior tires...although, who was the driver? You need to be good to extract the performance of cup 2s. I'd wager Pobst would run quicker in the GT4.

Both impressive cars, albeit different design goals. I’m curious how a PDK GT4 will fare.
