Something to consider is that, on the GT4, the cost of carbon fiber trim for the standard interior is about two thirds of the cost of the "full" leather interior with sliver stitching.

God bless,

Hey Tom,

You have seen the interior photos on my 7.2 RS and 718 GR Spyder on another post. They both have standard rubber on the dash. My RS has a ton of carbon but the dash is rubber. It is 10 years old and looks like new. Im not sure if leather would have looked any better. I agree with several people in that Porsche base leather options are no where close to even Audi or Ferrari leather and basically lack character. Even MB gets it right when it comes to leather. I think, with Porsche, leather is really not a priority unless one is getting non-GT cars. I decided to put my money on PCCB and LWBS instead. I don't regret it one bit. I thought the red stitching would be too much in the 718 Spyder with red panels and the base leather would really look no different than the rubber.
Hope that helps. Here are some photos of my 2018 GT3 (which I sold last year) and the 718 GR Spyder for comparison.

Thanks, Raghu. I think your Spyder interior is striking, due to the beautiful red trim and the lack of colored stitching. I wish one could get the GT4 without colored stitching, too.

God bless,
