BofA was the lowest for me at the time (including PenFed and the others). 2.19 with preferred status. Otherwise it's 2.69, just like their website says. Dealer made it worth my while to go with PFS instead of taking the better rate.

Edit: these are all 60 months.
Are you willing to elaborate on this? Sounds like a situation I (& others) could find myself in....

Deep discounts on add ons that I was mulling over (wheel and tire and extended warranty). They got a kickback on all 3 (warranty + wheel+ PFS) so I made them good money anyway but I believe I got a good deal out of it. They dropped the markups real fast.

You can leverage it further than I did, especially knowing what I know now. I want to build a relationship so I’m not looking for every last dollar, even though Ieft money on the table. As naive as that is, the dealer has done me solids in all aspects thus far, including trade.

Agreed; if we could get rates as low as you guys down south, I would have considered financing a portion of it!

Realize rates are low because the term is long, PFS still makes money.

Usually the lower rates are on shorter terms from what I've seen historically. Any financing PFS will make money; if it's low enough, you could invest that money for a better return (one can dream PFS would offer 0% ). Either way, they were nowhere close to my threshold to even consider financing. It is very interesting though how different the rates are with similar terms between Canada and the US.

Disagree, if a lender was offering me ~1.00% for 7+ years, I would take it all day long even if I had planned to pay cash.

Just met with my SA to discuss my delivery that is expected to be in San Diego any day now. (Porsche says tomorrow which seems unlikely) I inquired on rates trying to decide if it makes sense to finance any portion. 2.5% had me intrigued. Apparently that rate has now bumped back up to 2.74% for tier 1 with PFS. Still pretty low.

For another data point I’m picking up my GT4 next week. Was offered 2.74% from PFS today for a 60 month term with excellent credit.

One update to my financing. Had picked it up last Friday and was offered 2.74% from PFS. As I noted above, I opted for my local credit union BECU instead which the dealer told me was also 2.74% for 60 months. BECU called me today to inform me that the dealership had it wrong and I actually got 2.54%. The difference isn't huge, but a nice surprise nonetheless.

I am a longtime PenFed customer but PFS matched their current rate for me so went with PFS.
