Default Recline lean angle - LWBS

I stumbled upon a video where a GT3 owner talks about (and shows) a mod that can be made to the LWBS that changes the lean angle so the driving position is less upright and creates a more reclined angle, which this owner says is more suited (for him) to DD his GT3. Anyone here have any experience in this regard? Pros? Cons? Input appreciated.

For ref...here is the video. Fwd to 3:40

Net, Track Spec is best. Can be installed without removing seats from car. Not everyone likes them...based on preference on and off track.

Good to know !!!
I was wondering how to get more recline angle.
In a lot of buckets it's a built in option but not here.

I've been using the TPC Racing brackets for about six months and I'm very happy with them.

I am considering the Track Spec version, just want a few more miles in the LWBS before deciding!

I was considering ordering the angle brackets and may still do so but the LWBS have gotten better with every drive. I was very worried about these when I specced them (sitting in them in showroom is not the same as driving) after the first few drives as my lower back was sore after the initial few miles of each drive but went away after a few minutes. My favourite seats were in my Ferrari in terms of comfort but I’m finding the LWBS better and better with each drive and now I have no discomfort at all and happy I ordered them. I also liked the my 2 way on the GTS and no issues with comfort. But I don’t love the gizzilion way adjustment on my sports seats on my S5. So I may be an outlier. Good to know these may be a good option.

I have installed the autoquest seat angle adjusters. Definitely worth the upgrade. The seat is uncomfortably upright in the stock setting.

For typical or shorter drives (1-2hrs) I feel the stock position is very comfortable. On the longer drives such as heading down the coast for 3-4hrs, that's when I find that a bit of recline is nice. I looked at the other options but ultimately chose TPC because I liked their mounting point. That said, they all do the job very well so you can't go wrong with whatever you select.

I don't mind the upright angle in normal driving.
To me the problem starts when the helmet goes on.
It forces your head forward too much.

I ordered a set for my GT3 - I will report back - since if these + the p1designs inserts make the LWBS bearable as a DD then I will spec them in the Spyder

I personally like the mounting position of the TPC more than the Track Spec. Track spec raises the slider at the front. TPC raises the front of the seat itself similar to having side mounts with a few different holes. The question is which one reclines more? I am also trying to find instructions and/or video for the autoquest recliner. Waiting for them to reply.

I tried a friend’s car with track spec and felt it was more reclined than I prefer. If TPC reclines less, I will definitely get it.

I was going to order TrackSpec units as they provide LESS angle comparing to AutoQuest.
Anybody know how TPC is in this regard?
