Guards red compliments the red accents on the RS very nicely as well - what a perfect (2) car combo.

Enjoy in good health!

Guards red with those silver rims just looks so classic! Congrats on an awesome looking car! So exciting that folks on here are getting their cars. I'm still about a month and a half away buts it's fun to live through all of you guys!

I had been a BMW guy for the past 35 years or so. Owned a couple dozen of them, including an F80 M3. The removal of manual transmissions from so many of their cars forced me to look elsewhere. So glad I found Porsche again...I had a 911T back in the early 1970s. I predict you will not look back, unless you need a smallish four seater and/or had a great relationship with your BMW dealer, which I did/do (my wife and I still have two BMWs). Porsche sports cars are sublime! Congratulations on a great choice.

God bless,
TT

Thanks Katzndogs,
I just cannot stop looking at the GR Spyder. I agree with you on the PCCB's. I debated getting them in black but that would have ruined everything.
And thanks for the compliment on the RS. I have enjoyed it immensely.

My 2016 GT4 is the same colour as yours. It looks great, however, I went with silver for my 2020 otherwise my neighbours wouldn't know I had a new car. I have to give them something to talk about. Enjoy your new car.

This was my philosophy as well, My first 2 Boxster's were Speed Yellow, most who knew me never knew I changed cars (2003-2006), next was two Dark Metallic Blue Boxster's (2013-2016) again, most never even suspected... This time the switch may get noticed!

Oops, more than a week late replying - I've used Harry's Grand Prix with a GoPro and OBD2 dongle previously. No major complaints about that setup, but like you I may invest in an AIM Solo, as my buddy has had good luck with his over many years at the track. Thanks for your feeback!

The GR looks somewhat different in bright sunlight especially with the green trees reflecting or filtering some frequencies of light.

Like many others have said, great choice on the silver wheels...and how you built the car--totally agree on all points. (I have a GR 993 and a Rhodium Silver GT4 with lots of red bits and silver wheels.)

Also, awesome garage friends for your new GT4.

Enjoy the car in great health.
