I noticed that these headers have disappeared from the product page and the only option now is the modular headers w/cats?

Doesn't seem a bad idea mind, and the pricing is pretty reasonable.

The sound video is the same as from the long tube race headers though which seems a bit odd as the shorter tube replacement is bound to sound a tad different.

Hey JC,

To cater to the desires of our customers we opted to change our offering from the Long Tube Headers to the Modular design because many people wanted the best of both worlds. With this new system, you can purchase both the CATs and the Bypass pipe and swap them out as you enter and leave the track, without the worry of road inspections!

Both of the videos on the product page feature our modular headers! Check them out here: https://www.fabspeed.com/fabspeed-po...nverters-2020/

Which video are you referring to?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the HP difference between the long tube race headers and your new modular design is negligible anyway? Even with the 200CEL HJS cat in place it's only like a 3hp difference.

BTW, this setup sounds incredible and I can't wait to get it on my GT4. I was fortunate enough to take a ride in the Fabspeed GT4 with this setup and it's amazing. Highly recommended!

You are exactly correct, Our 200 Cel Cats still give you 90% of the flow that a straight pipe has!

Glad you got to experience it first hand!

Fabspeed owner, Joe Fabiani, explains the research and development that went into our new one-piece "Monoblock" wing risers for both the 981 and 718 GT4 (2016+).

Wing risers look nice. How does it affect the aero balance of the car?

Hey Driven991,

It is very difficult to give accurate Aero results without a tunnel, but I'm happy to lend my opinion!
Through feel, It improves the downforce of the GT4 through the corners and at higher speed. No issues with grip whatsoever!

Are there any original design headers available?
i really like the long tube design. I made the mistake of ordering a competitor's header and the quality was so poor that they were unusable. The flange was so warped that there was a 5mm gap in at the center.

Very sorry to hear about that, care to share whose it was?

Unfortunetly we do not have any long tube sets left. However, our modular headers create the same sound when used in the track only configuration.

Same performance? I'm more interested in performance than sound honestly.
Do you have any of the new headers in stock?

The other headers were from Cargraphic.

Looks awesome, thank you. Do you have any in stock with cat bypass pipes? I need to have them before May 15th if possible.

That is a provocative statement... what happens on May 15th?
