Has anyone taken their car to the dealer and said fix this? If so, what was the outcome?

I'm still at a loss as to why one of these owners hasn't at least tried to gently scrape a little bit off and look at it. That's the first thing I would have done.

When I take delivery in two weeks. If the streaks are present. I'm requesting the car go into service before I take it home.
My SA is on board with this. He said they will do everything they can to rectify.

I tried scraping off some of the residue and was unsuccessful. I was using a long pick. The residue seems to be hard and it's a little difficult to get at it because the radiator fins are spaced close together. The good news is I got a bunch of bugs out of my radiator.

+1 - I have the same agreement should this "residue" be present on my car. They will replace it if they can't clean it...they will earn their PDI fees on my car.

This whole stripe thing has brought on my nervous tickSeems to be more a last batch NA thing although there are euro pics above? Wish one of the members would do a fly by the dealer to get their stance on a repair or outright fix. I'm in the next batch so 2 weeks and if so I will not leave the dealer until....

Thank you for giving it a look. If you take it to the dealer, let us know what they say.

Any feedback guys? I'm going into production next week and would love to understand any findings.

Thanks in advance.

Nobody on this board has taken their car to the dealer for this issue. I thought by now maybe we would have more info.
I'm curious because I take delivery in a couple of weeks. If present. The car will go straight into service.

If your car is just now entering production, you've got months before it'll be in your hands and this will potentially even be an issue. I'm sure we'll know something by then.

Where I live we are in obligatory quarantine, and things are looking ugly in the south hemisphere, so probably quarantine will remain for one more month or even more ..so no dealer visits for me for a while ..

I've just saw a GT4 video of Roger Bayley, guess what you I'll see at the begining.. good video by the way

Thanks for sharing, especially like the colour (same as my incoming Spyder), not so sure about the 'free stripes' up front though!

You see them in a couple of shots, not sure how new the car is but it only has just over 1100 kms, so unless it hasn't been driven much due to Covid-19 lock downs it could be one of the early deliveries.

That second wave of deliveries in North America should be hitting dealerships next week and should provide some additional scope on the center radiator stripes.

In the video shared here by @ISPYA718 didn't notes any stripes… https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gt4-...t4-review.html

Perhaps it is only early deliveries or a certain batch?
