@scottmesenbrink Congrats on an awesome car, so in person how do you like the colour, do you find it is 'dark enough' or closer to white? I was hoping for something closer to Nardo Grey so worry Chalk might be too light?

its awesome in person. In the outdoor light it’s nicely understated and in the dark it’s more gray. I think someone noted that above. My second choice was Miami Blue and third choice was Guards Red so I’m happy with the outcome. I have the door handles in high gloss black and that gives it a nice contrast. It’s not too light to be confused with white. Pictures don’t allow that to come through well.
iphone pictures... chalk tends to photograph whiter than it is. i really like the color and would do it again. the spyder looks good in chalk with any color wheel imo. i am not a fan of black because the wheels are nice and you want to see their shape. i love platinum satin but wanted to switch it up to silver this time. silver wheels and chalk... i'd usually say no because chalk needs to be broken up with something dark or it looks bland. on the sypder this works because it's topless and has various black bits (aero, lights, etc) to provide contrast. no regrets at all.

again, not the best pics. the gt silver trim makes for a a much nicer and richer version of the standard trim in a 991/718. goes well with chalk exterior, but obviously even better with gt silver. the red is darker than these images appear. i like it a lot. fwiw, i had a 991 in gt silver on black and always regretted not getting the black/red interior. direct sunlight garage led light garage led light
