@hf1 It was clearly Chalk coming up the hill. And as it passed those yellow calibers looked great against the Chalk. Had the standard wheels.

Its a really nice looking color in the open on a GT4 chassis. I’m a silver guy, and found it to be impressive.

I just submitted my build and ticked the box for Chalk. So those that own Chalk, does it have more of a grey or brown over tone to it? Does that tone change in the sun versus the shade?

That is the $2,500-$3,500 question!

God bless,

As you are asking you know that the lighting for such a subtle shade of colour is affects how it looks to the eye, the brighter or more direct the light the less you can see other than very light grey, in the shade as your eyes adjust to less light the colour appears deeper. Now regarding the actual tonal qualities, the sun throughout the day changes colour and the Chalk paint reflects this back, if the light has a orange/bronze cast the grey looks warm, at high noon and in the bright sun it looks almost white unless there is something truly white to show the contrast, last Sunday at the height of the day but in the shade of a tree the Chalk looked to have a bluer cast. Lighting is everything...

A buddy dropped by while my car was in my workshop (shaded of course), he said he was surprised that I had bought a white car... I reached over and grabbed a nearby white note pad, held it against the paint and it was immediately obvious he was mistaken.

Awesome. It's hard to extrapolate from a paint sample. Many thanks.

So silver stitching would go well then? I put my initial build request in using all black stitching. My SA is going to get back to me regarding the silver stitching in the seats and if it's the same as the GT silver option for the leather dash.

I was told by my SA through the PCNA folks that GT silver metallic is the correct color to match the silver deviated stitching.

I had the same question on the dashboard trim package.

I see that @rooster17 has answered the question about the thread colour, and yes looks great, I have a friend with a Chalk GT4 and he went with the Silver/black interior option...

For what it’s worth. Not an owner of chalk but from what I have seen from chalk Porsche’s it has two modes.

Overcast = greyish whiteish
Direct sunlight = almond milk

From this angle the Speedster needs to drop a few pounds.

It’s like that from every angle.
