its a great color esp. in direct sunlight ... it really comes out as a deep blue with purple - in diffuse light though it does go very dark - almost like a night or midnight blue...
Please chime in if you have or are planning on a Burm, on your Spyder or GT4.
~5% of vehicle cost on just the stereo seems a bit dear. Feedback?
I have a Burm system in my current DD (Merc), and honestly, I much preferred the HK system in my last car (BMW). Sound is such a subjective thing anyway, some prefer deeper (bass) and others punchier mids, crisper top end etc...also depends greatly on what you are listening too. For my tastes I find that the Burm system lacks low end and can sound a bit "tinny". - certainly wouldn't spend the extra $$ for it. YMMV.
It's called flop. Candy colors like this tend to have a lot of flop in them.

I think it's a really cool color in either light, but I'm not partial to colors that have so much flop, i.e., look so different at different light angles, simply because in sunlight you get a very uneven look across the car. It looks really cool, but it's just not my preference in a sports car.
I don't think there is a bad color choice on the 718 GT4 or Spyder. They all look good.

yeah I have the same issue with Miami Blue - love it when its Blue - not so much when its Turquoise!

Sadly it's nothing very exciting or P related... simply my initials.
BTW, I did not drive the previous generation so I cannot compare but WOW I like the sound... I wasn't expecting much based on all the discussions here and some of the reviews but I'm very happy with it (at least for now!)
