not at all. At the end of the day there is still more demand than supply, and with very limited cars built so far I really cant see prices under msrp in the USA. The virus has affected all supply chains and production. This disruption could last years with many future products delayed in 2021 and 2022.

Or possibly even a truncated model run, they are using the 4.0l in the GTS Cayman/Boxster they will get some R&D investment back there, add to that Porsche doesn't give away anything, doubtful their cost to the dealer will drop on the GT cars.

They are also headed to electrification on this model range, doubtful they would delay it to keep GT4's and Spyders available for the faithful.

I just read that orders for Ferraris are skyrocketing... So does not seem that COVID has a big influence on the luxury/exotic car market.

article in french.

We share the same thinking on this Westcoast, it's a smart economic move for P in these conditions GT cars don't pay the bills.

I don't understand that a 15% discount is possible on a new Porsche GT car - Is that not below invoice? I can't get that on a regular Porsche unless it is an old leftover model. Sounds too good to be true - Covid 19 or not.

Thanks. I can’t wait to get the car! I‘ve been dreaming of it for two years although I was more towards GT Silver than Black

The GT cars hype in Europe is over! Porsche dealers are very humble now and the GT market bubble is behind us. You have tens of GT3 RS, GT3 Touring, GT4 and Spyders on the market sitting for 3-6 months on the lots.
We‘re very few to love these GT cars with bucket seats and a clutch. Most wealthy people I know are buying hybrid or electric cars. My guess it that the US market might see the same development in the coming 18-24 months. So make sure you buy for the right price today

Switzerland, probably the wealthiest European country with Norway. I think the GT market is hurt even more in the rest of Europe.

I am not wealthy so now I know why I am not buying a hybrid or electric car!

As for the GT car, I am buying it because I want it, not for some some ill conceived idea of an investment, damn no wonder I am always broke!
