Brake Dust
At the risk of beating a dead horse here, I wanted to ask new GT4/Spyder owners who selected the standard brakes to comment on how bad they're finding the brake dust on the new car. I'm really curious if it's going to be just as bad as it was on the 981 GT4.

How bad was it on the 981 gt4? Silver or platinum wheels?

Only a couple of hundred miles on grey wheels.
It's definitely noticeable.
Wish i went with ceramic
On a side yet related note the tungsten carbide surface coated brakes on my cayenne turbo is the best in that regard (save the squeaking)

Get black/gun metal/dark wheels or just don't bother with cleaning it all the time...

I loved my PCCBs on my last 2 Spyders. To me they are worth every penny.

Had PCCBs on my Carrera. Between that and OptiCoat Pro on the car, I could go months without washing the car.

Automatic Touch-less Carwash.
Detail car and wax/coat wheels 1-2x/year.
Brake less.
Never had pccb in my porsches. Price, on its own, wouldn’t deter me if it wasn’t for their fragility to rocks & debris lodged between pad and rotor.

Regarding Outlast, I am not a fan of Armour All products but did find Outlast to work relatively well. FWIW, the trick I found is once it is applied, when washing the car rinse the wheels, do NOT wipe them with a mit or brush or whatever your preference. I discovered this when cleaning one wheel for the first time. After using my soft wheel brush, when rinsing the water did not bead and runoff as well as before brushing. On the rest of the wheels I rinsed only, the water beaded and ran off for several weeks, and brake dust did not accumulate near as much as on the one washed wheel.

PCCB is awesome for this respect. I have those on my current 981. That said I didn't order them for the 718 because I will be tracking.
I'm just planning to have ceramic pro put on the wheels and calipers for easy cleaning.
