Sunday, my girlfriend and I drove from my place in Flanders to the French coast (Wissant & Cap Blanc Nez) while avoiding highways. It took 3 hours to get there, with one 5 minute stop. We both agreed the seats are very comfortable. Though getting out will not be for everyone. I am in very good shape considering my age: 53. I got back pain when I was 33 but it vanished when I lost weight, though I am no featherweight (85kg/1m76cm). A friend of me drives a 718 Boxster with standard seats and he complains sometimes about his back. But he should loose weight too!
It's difficult to advise.. Best advise is to have a go for yourself in a GT4 or Spyder with buckets.
BTW, both car and girl are keepers! If you look closely, you can see England's chalk rocks on the other side of the North Sea Channel.
Hey Folksf have a late Feb lock date, US delivery early May and stuck between yellow with carbon trim and yellow interior bits w cf brakes OR CWwhite, red roof and spider red interior......any ideas?
With a professional mic. But then most people listen via smartphones or computers that cannot transduce the low frequencies anyway. You just have to feel for yourself. I have to admit I was underwhelmed after hearing all the YouTube vids. Not anymore after actually driving the Spyder. It makes all kinds of wonderful noises even if I haven't been past 5000 rpm yet.
Today slightly underwhelmed by the muting action that takes place between 2k rpm And 4rpm apparently to varying degrees. Sometimes it feels more muted than others.
Can't figure out the logic.
Coming from previously owning a 991.1 c4s with the power kit, this engine have a much better low end torque.
I am also very eager to Rev the engine more but the user manual is quite explicit and i intend to listen to it for at least the first 1500 km(~1000 miles ish).
Still think the suspension is compliant a lot more than any gt i had.
You have to register bicycles for the road in Belgium?
Not if it's an electric with a top speed of 25 km/h. But if it's a speed pedelec with a top speed of 45 km/h like mine, it needs a license plate and insurance. It's a Stromer ST3 from Switzerland. Helmet is also obligatory.

I have been thinking also why the sound changes sometimes with a mm of throttle while driving slowly in traffic or so. Could this be the cilinder deactivation that I hear?
