I hope so as well because I also spoke to one of them about how frustrating it is to get a GT allocation right now as an enthusiast and they said there isn't anything Porsche can do in America other than them trying to produce as many GT car's as they can which is what their plan is going to be. Said the GT4RS/Spyder RS/etc will not be limited cars but at the beginning it may be more limited/harder to get so his advice was to wait and eventually allocations will exist since Porsche is going to try their best to meet demand.

I sure hope you are right!!! That has not been history the last 8 years. I have been lucky and able to get GT’s but I am told this time around will cost me ADM.

Even if it's not limited to certain units world wide, realistically how many cars can they produce in the two year production time that was mentioned this car will have with the whole chip shortage etc?

Thousands. I knew it wasn't going to be numbered. MY22 may be hard to get due to the chip shortage but I bet there will be more allocations for MY23 once things ease up next year.

He's been saying the same thing since 981 GT4. I wouldn't be taking him on his word on this occasion!!

Hhhhhh, if only I can get a GT3 allocation tomorrow at MSRP then I will believe these words. I can’t imagine why daydreamers are serious abt these words.
Maybe it was already pointed out, but the car in the Nurburgring video had grey seats. If anything like 991.2 RS, where the inside was color coded to the launch color, it probably points to a grey launch color.

(S)he openly referenced the spyder rs? So, it’s being acknowledged semi-officially now, then. If they’re only making it a year, I can’t see there being nearly enough for demand, unless the price is just crazy high (thereby limiting demand).
Looks to break up the all black interior. Wonder how well that Sport Tex will hold up and what luxury tax they will charge for that.
Yeah...with that color it will require a bit more maintenance. While not OEM P1 Designs area a good option.
On my GT4 what I did to break up the all black seats is have the plastic seat belt passages matched to the interior (or exterior) color, you can do it CXX or have them painted.
