Now just need to decide on yellow seat belts or black...

Guards red for me with interior red bits and stitching.
I have a Miami blue RS and the color is amazing on GT cars especially if there are black contrast pieces like the RS has. Not sure I will keep it though...I like my manual PTS GT3 better. Well see. Euro delivery in July for the 718 Spyder.

So what is the thought on have too common a colour?
I see that Gentian Blue, GT Silver and Chalk are ringing in at a collective 60% of all the cars, maybe too many going with those colours.
Are you going to show up are cars and coffee with 3 other example of the same car???
Maybe Black or Yellow is the way to go...

Miami Blue wasn't even on my radar (so many other similar shades of blue through PTS that I like better) until I saw a 991.2 GTS at a local dealer over the weekend. WOW, what an attention grabber. Very cool color. Reminds of the old gumball machines and the blue gumballs. Anyway, nothing compares to seeing a car in person, that's for sure, regardless of what color you choose.....

Miami has green in it that the pic above does not seem to capture. It is really like a miami dolphins blue and not a blue blue like riviera or mexico. I really like Miami blue, but you have to see it in person, especially under sunlight where the green undertones come through.

In my experience, Miami Blue appears different under different light, unlike Racing Yellow, which pops all the time. I think it's to do with the green in the mix. I would definitively pick MB if I lived in Florida
But I really like the fact that Yellow is the rarest choice after black. Remarkable since it's free of charge and it's a joyful color on a joyful car...

Point is that it looks different depending on lighting. The green in it is not always evident and when it is I don't feel it's as objectionable as some online say. And yes it's not a blue like voodoo or Mexico or riviera.
Here are some other pics showing the variation depending on lighting.

Based on this poll it looks like my Spyder is going to be a pretty rare colour combo - I've gone black but with yellow contrast stitching (full buckets) and seat belts to tie in with the yellow PCCB's.
