Agreed about the reasoning, but I was only thinking of any given colour being over used...

Now just need to decide on yellow seat belts or black...

I think they look good in all colours. The red is growing on me as well. Very beautiful. Gat Silver is timeless and was the colour in my original spec.

Guards red for me with interior red bits and stitching.
I have a Miami blue RS and the color is amazing on GT cars especially if there are black contrast pieces like the RS has. Not sure I will keep it though...I like my manual PTS GT3 better. Well see. Euro delivery in July for the 718 Spyder.

I see that Gentian Blue, GT Silver and Chalk are ringing in at a collective 60% of all the cars, maybe too many going with those colours.

Are you going to show up are cars and coffee with 3 other example of the same car???

Maybe Black or Yellow is the way to go...
I don’t do C&C so not a problem for me. If you’re looking for a larger color pallet perhaps GTS is the way to go?

Miami Blue wasn't even on my radar (so many other similar shades of blue through PTS that I like better) until I saw a 991.2 GTS at a local dealer over the weekend. WOW, what an attention grabber. Very cool color. Reminds of the old gumball machines and the blue gumballs. Anyway, nothing compares to seeing a car in person, that's for sure, regardless of what color you choose.....

MB looks great especially with black door handles to break it up a bit. Although I’m wondering if the color will age well for me. Tempted though.

Who could not like this?

MB would look great on the GT4, not sure about Spyder.

Yeah it does. I would say the pic I posted is a good representation.....on my device. Challenge is it's hard to photograph and will look different depending on the screen being viewed on. Also lighting impacts this colour.

But it's a solid colour!

Miami has green in it that the pic above does not seem to capture. It is really like a miami dolphins blue and not a blue blue like riviera or mexico. I really like Miami blue, but you have to see it in person, especially under sunlight where the green undertones come through.

In my experience, Miami Blue appears different under different light, unlike Racing Yellow, which pops all the time. I think it's to do with the green in the mix. I would definitively pick MB if I lived in Florida

But I really like the fact that Yellow is the rarest choice after black. Remarkable since it's free of charge and it's a joyful color on a joyful car...

Yes it does have some green and that pic captured is pretty accurate in that light. In direct sunlight it does take on some green found in the pigment. Looking online at Miami Dolphins colours it doesn't look quite like that.

Point is that it looks different depending on lighting. The green in it is not always evident and when it is I don't feel it's as objectionable as some online say. And yes it's not a blue like voodoo or Mexico or riviera.

Here are some other pics showing the variation depending on lighting.

Based on this poll it looks like my Spyder is going to be a pretty rare colour combo - I've gone black but with yellow contrast stitching (full buckets) and seat belts to tie in with the yellow PCCB's.

Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. There are some colors that look great on a convertible and not so much on a coupe (and vice versa).
