Is it just me or do others think some colors look better on a Spyder than a GT4 or vice versa?
Agree. The Miami Blue looks nice on the spyder but so-so to me on the GT4. Right now I divided my choices in 3: standard, metallic and special colour, with one choice in each.
As of today august 26th (I change my mind often!), it would be yellow in standard colours. If I decide to go with Metallic it would be Gentian Blue. If I go all out with special colour I would go with chalk.

I find Miami Blue looks a lot like the Polestar blue Volvo was offering on the S60 and V60 Polestar.
I loved that colour and almost wrapped my TurboX SportCombi in that colour last summer. I finally went with yellow. I'm looking at the Miami Blue GT4 images... maybe it will grow on me!

Has there been anything official from Porsche about PTS not being offered on the 718 GT4/Spyder? I would assume, if they are just not saying anything, eventually a PTS window will open up.

Not really... Miami Blue is a difficult color to capture. Camera always try to color correct it. This is a better representation

Yes, Porsche sent a message to dealers specifically stating that PTS will not be available the 2020 Model Year.

I'm the opposite. I went mental trying to decide a "normal" color for a long time. Originally wanted GR. Then thought white looked good. Then Gentian was my #1 choice based on configurator but knowing it's different in person makes me not want it. Then back to GR. Then maybe Chalk. UGH!
With PTS, I know the one color I want and have always wanted as long as I've wanted a Porsche. Arena Red. Take my money.

Your post is accurate, it also states Current Paint to Sample Availability. Things change and it will change which means a new "Current" notice to dealers.
