Default SRS Rear Trunk/"Boot" Golf Bag/Clubs

Apologies for those that may be annoyed that I've created a thread for this, but new member to the forum here and I searched threads but couldn't find answer I was looking for on here, or online.

BUT... for anyone who owns and/or knows about the SRS rear trunk. Can the trunk fit a golf bag and golf clubs? (If so, does anybody have any pictures or experience of loading trunk with bag and clubs?) I'm blessed to play golf a lot and I do travel to courses across FL to play, and hoping the car does fit clubs.

Same trunk all 718s.

Depends on your bag. Probably not with the driver in the bag. Small bag, yeah that ok.

Go look at any 718, and decide for yourself.

Agree. Fit a lightweight bag with the driver pulled out in my Cayman.

It would be very tight. I think the clubs would need to ride as passenger.

might as well leave everything in the golf bag and just put it all in the passenger seat

I purchased a seat cover off amazon to protect the seat from scratches. when it's not in use I just fold it up and leave it behind the seat.

It will fit fine, just depends a little on your bag. The key dimension is the outside diameter of the lower portion of the bag. My stand bag fits fine. I have a Titleist cart bag, and the bottom is too big. I have another cart bag, and it fits fine, roughly 1” smaller diameter at the bottom. The bottom dimension is key because you’ll need it to be slid under the overhang on the side of the trunk. Pretty much everything longer than a 6 iron, will need removed, put in first, and kept furthest to the rear of the trunk.

I can also get shoes, drinks and a battery for my electric cart in there at the same time. Plenty of room

Hey, would you mind posting a link to your cover? I want one when somebody needs to drive my car, like for the stupid state inspection. Thank you.

its good enough to keep it clean / scratch free if i need to place long items (golf bags) in the passenger area

i never tried having anyone sit on it

Thank you. I want something 'form fitting', either for the purpose I mentioned, a dog, or whatever else. The one you linked is definitely not suitable for people indeed. But thanks anyway.

YouTube is your friend.

This works. I've done it.
But note that you can't open the trunk of a Spyder without detaching the flying buttresses, or whatever they're called.

Fore right!
