Yep, they report the lightest possible weight, and from a stripped based model, if they can get away with that. But now it's supposed to be with all fluids, with 90% of fuel, I believe. Motorcycles still claim 'dry' weight, which is absolute crap, since you cannot ride a bike without a battery, and without any fluids. So I NEVER believe manufacturer's weight numbers. They tend to exaggerate on everything else too, including performance numbers (correcting to 'ideal' conditions that of course don't exist for 90+% of people), allowing 'rollout', etc. But at least Porsche is typically conservative (or at least truthful) with those.

The Cayman GTS trophy winner at SCCA AS was scaled with no driver at 3207 with Pdk.

PAG changed its weight calcs after the 981 chassis.

Before, lightest configuration.

After, standard configuration.

981-982 big bump in weight due to this change.

do you have the full interior still? What about doing a fiberglass boot and bonnet?

Yes, full interior. I’m not actually trying to save weight - there’s plenty I could do if that was the goal.

Absolutely. I was curious of what the various cars weighed in that pre award weigh session. Simms was in the 3175~, Damhoff 2980~ if I recall.
