Default 718 Pricing Updates - 2024

Not sure if you all have seen, but pricing has changed as follows:

2023
Base Cayman - $63,400
Cayman S - $75,400
Base Boxster - $65,500
Boxster S - $77,500

2024
Base Cayman - $68,300
Cayman S - $80,300
Base Boxster - $70,400
Boxster S - $82,400

You can still see the old prices on these pages (as well as the existence of the Cayman T and Boxster T in the first link), but the prices are updated once you go in to actually build the vehicles.

And the configurator won't allow you to save a build. It says "the code service is unavailable at this time."

But, but…..no Cayman T? Spyder and GT4 still show up on separate configurator pages (but other sources claim that they are discontinued for 2024).

The Spyder + GT4 are required to be on the configurator; how else are those with future builds supposed to submit their build codes to the dealer?
I assume the configurator for these two variants will show at least till the last one rolls off the line.

Do those new prices apply to as-yet unbuilt MY2023 cars? Or only MY24?

I hope your are correct. I reached the freeze point on a build recently and relied on the price calculator as confirmed by my dealer when doing the specs on a 2023. I would be very disappointed if the price increase applied and I wasn’t allowed to change the options to meet my budget.

I'm pretty sure the year model you build for is what you're paying for (2023 = 2023 pricing). I just built my 2024 base Cayman and it came to an eye-watering $80k... (Manual, leather touchpoints, sports chrono, PASM, LED lights, 19" wheels)

Didn't see that coming but apparently the T models + GT4 + Spyder are done.

Has anyone else noticed that PTS is apparently no longer offered on any 718 model?

Default Price gouging

Anyone upset about the increase in prices?

I have been waiting for an allocation for a cayman GTS. With the last 2 price hikes I’m contemplating a BMW M3 or a c8 corvette. Over the last 2 years the price has gone up by 10k+.

The value proposition is not there. Yes humor me!

a base 911 is up to 116k.

since I already have a Taycan not sure I’ll miss not having a P car.

cheers.

Price gouging? You should probably google that; not sure that’s an accurate description of these price increases.

Yes, it’s gone up over $10k past couple of years. What’s that like 12% or something? Seems cheap compared to inflation on everything else…

Bronco I’ve had on order for over two years has gone up more.
