Default Interior leather color change

I am looking at a 718 that I like except it has the Leather Package in Black/Luxor Beige. I hate Beige and that alone is a deal killer unless I can swap out por dye the beige pieces (door arm rest, pull handle, center console lid and seat inserts) for a reasonable price (new pieces would likely push 5k).

Anyone have experience with this? I would choose red first, but if that was out, black would be next.

Keep looking, unless you want to spend big bucks.

Professional leather dye job to black would be in the range of $1K.

Yeah, I always found the partial 2 tone leather interior odd looking. Full 2 tone leather looks much better to my eyes. You get the deviated stitching also.

I had Luxor in the past. Didn’t mind it.

Move on. You won’t be happy with the cost to do it right, or the poor results of doing it wrong. Find another car.

Red would not be ideal for a quality job in my experience.

More trouble than it's worth. If you don't like the interior then walk away.

Armrest lid is easy. The backrest cushions are just glued in. Don't know about the bottoms. May be better to just find seats out of another car. 991, 981, 982 (718) have interchangeable seats so finding a single color or other color isn't that difficult. Door panels may be the most complicated. May need to replace the entire door cards which I've seen listed for sale before.

So local shop quoted me $3,500 to do everything.

Lid is easy: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKUG2991CLR.html

Door pull is expensive: https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...ORPULL981.html

Looks like armrest has no separate part number. https://porsche.oempartsonline.com/v...rior-trim-door

Seat cushion looks cheap: 991-521-571-00

seat back 991-521-151-00-OG6

What about the lower dash which will be tan if equipped with a full leather interior? The seat cushion is the foam insert, not the seat cover itself. This is the correct part for the leather cover itself, not just the cushion. Exact PN will vary by color and type of seats - https://porsche.oempartsonline.com/o...bC1oNC1nYXM%3D

Seat backs are another part entirely - https://porsche.oempartsonline.com/o...bC1oNC1nYXM%3D

Seat centers - https://porsche.oempartsonline.com/o...g0LWdhcw%3D%3D

I'm going to say this again. It's not worth the effort. Find another car.
