‘Hard driven/tracked’ means hard driven OR tracked. You said you can feel the PTV working. That indicates hard driven. The more the PTV operates, the more your pads will wear. Period.

Have some common sense. How often and for how long is the inside brake being used during PTV? I feel it all the time, brake pad “normal” after 10K.
You guys are being pendantic here. The point is PTV/LSD is desirable in a Porsche sports car.
Personally I’ll take some minimal pad wear to get PTV/LSD versus an open diff. Tell me where I’m wrong there?

Your original post…
“PTV eating up rear brake pads? I think thats an overblown comment. Did an SA tell you that?” …
clearly indicates that you do not believe PTV will accelerate brake pad wear. I disagree. It will.

Someone posted that “PTV eats up rear brake pads”.
I responded that was an “overblown” comment. Which I stand by.
PTV caused rear pad wear is negligible and is not a reason to not get PTV/LSD. That was my point.

So we agree? Good for us…
