Default Best valved exhaust? - Fabspeed Motorsport

Fabspeed's 718 Valvetronic Exhaust system for the Porsche Boxster/Cayman gives you full control of how rowdy your exhaust note is. Made with tier one quality Helical exhaust valves and mandrel bent T304 stainless steel, this is an extremely high-quality exhaust system worthy of your P-car

SOUND:

With PSE on (valves open) you’ll be treated to a unique and rowdy Porsche flat-four rumble. In sport mode, pops on downshifts will be aggressive and sharp. With PSE off (valves closed), this system is still louder than a stock car but very tame around town without any unwanted drone.

(PSE not mandatory)

FEATURES:
  • Fits all Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman Base/S Models Worldwide 2017+ and GTS Models 2017-2020
  • Significant Increase in throttle response and reduced turbo lag
  • Weight savings of 7 lbs / 3.2 KG’s
  • CAD designed X-Pipe made using investment casting for maximum possible flow and spectacular sports car sound
  • Helical Limited U.K. silica carbide exhaust valves
  • Plug and play exhaust valves work with the factory PSE system (Porsche Sport Exhaust)
  • Optional valve controller kit for non-PSE equipped cars
  • Constructed from CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel
  • 50 state emissions legal Cat-Back exhaust does not remove the catalytic converters
  • All parts are easily installed with no cutting or welding required, bolt-on, and go
  • Optimized for maximum performance with no check engine light
  • Choose between real Carbon Fiber, Satin Black, Polished Stainless, Brushed Stainless, or Re-use your OEM tips
  • All Fabspeed performance products are backed by the Fabspeed Lifetime Warranty

  • Video coming soon!

Check out our new Valvetronic Exhaust for the 718 Boxster/Cayman cars with 2.0l and 2.5l engines. This system is plug and play for any 718 that has PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) and any car without can use our valve adapter kit.

What would you recommend for an exhaust setup to get ride of that popping/crackling when coming off throttle on the 718/cayman. Is it even possible? Furthermore, is it possible when running a full turbo back exhaust. No offense to anyone who likes that sound, but I really can't stand it and don't associate that sound w/ vehicle like this.

No offense taken, I would tend to agree with you that often times it can be excessive. Much more of a BMW characteristic.

Due to the upgraded flow when using our Turboback system, it does indeed make your OEM burble more apparent. That is all part of the OEM software, and can easily be eliminated through our ECU tune.
