I have a MB 991.2 and love it. Such a great color! It goes well with chalk interior.

You really shouldn't even have to ask.

Miami Blue is a pastel green colour in the sun & cameras don’t truly catch the color
just bought a Miami blue 718 and saw in indoors and it looked ok.
but in bright daylight, it’s a greeny colour! Absolutely disgusting! I wish I saw it in the sun before I bought it. Gonna wrap the thing if I don’t sell it first

So you bought a car with a color you thought looked "okay" inside? You have more money than I do.

Greeney color??? What the hell are you talking about? You might want to get your eyes checked if you are seeing any green in the sun. That said, MB is not for everyone but it sure is for a lot of people. I just came back from the largest motorsports gathering in the US (SCCA Solo Nat's), and I can tell you people flock to it all the time. I'll try to throw up a non-green photo of my car all dressed and ready to go for verification.

Besides that, I like Miami Blue as a Boxter color. I think Boxters should be bright, fun colors and leave the dark, serious colors to the 911. My Spyder is Shark Blue for that reason. I may be able to pull off Miami but I'll never know as it was discontinued.
I literally get stopped at least every other week and am asked if my car is Miami or Shark. Last week it was a lifted truck at a stoplight. Surprised that the driver knew enough to name those two colors but not enough to differentiate.

Miami Blue is a teal Colour so it’s much more green than it is blue! In the bright light, it much look ok if you like an effervescence Colour and desperately want attention. In the shade, it’s a flat faded Colour that does not justice to the curves of the car

Addressing 981 vs 718 4 cyl turbo, we have both and my experience (opinion) is this: (note, both are GTS's)
The 981 slightly wins in the exhaust sound category, more than slightly at high RPM's and when in sport plus. And I feel a little more connected to the road via the steering. not as much as our previous 987.1, but a little more than the 718.
The 718 turbo edges out the 981 in everyday street driving. The reason is the turbo, when you need a little or a lot of juice you get it with no drama. Meaning, no need to force a downshift. Just push the pedal a little or a lot more and the response is almost instant. If you are going to spend a fair amount of time on interstate highways you will definitely like the 718.
This is a good time to note I am talking GTS specifically, the turbo geometry is different than the non-GTS is my understanding. Also should note the 981 is a 2015, the 718 a 2018.
Your color inquiry has been fully answered, however I will add this: Everybody other than you is going to see the car, see the color. Rarely will anyone else drive it and know the difference between a 981 and a 718...

You know, I actually like how the H4T sounds over the castrated GTS 4.0 now. At least below 5K rpm, which is where we have to drive the majority of the time. I also used to own a 981 GTS, and it sounded amazing. By the way, ALL 718s have standard sport exhaust since 2019, I believe.
