I feel safe to pile on after BlueNorther. I get what they're trying to elicit from me with Aventurine Green, and I want that, and respect that. But it just seems a little too demure, too sedate for me. Particularly in a car like the 718. In the end, it just looks like one of the bad colors that BMW makes you buy with their motorcycles.

I love blues (I've got a Miami Blue Boxster), but not when they get too dark. I'd need to see more pics, or a car in the wild, to decide about Gentian Blue.

AG looks decent on the 718 but looks a HELLUVA lot better on the 911.

Ive seen it in the flesh on a C2S, and it looked sharp.

You should see the color in person before you rule it out. It may look very elegant in the flesh, and if green enough, fairly rare.

I saw one in person and thought it looked better in pictures. I expected to love it, but came away thinking it was very meh. Like it didn't know if it wanted to be green or grey.

Not really. Custom color was just announced and not a single CC car has been delivered to a customer.

And if I were a betting man, aventurine green isn’t on the list of colors.

PTS window just opened and no cars have been built with it yet. That has to be photoshopped. It actually looks like a picture of a GT Silver car that’s been floating around for a while.

And neither Agate or Aventurine are on the list.

If you wear a suit to work? Lol, not sure what point you're trying to make. As far as "interesting", id argue Gentian is much more interesting than another guards red cayman. If you're going red, spend the money to get Carmine. And racing yellow is one of the worst yellows Porsche has put out. Signal or speed are so much prettier

Lvan, you sir, are entertaining as usual! Agree on Guards Red. It has been offered for so long on so many models that it is a cliche.

Meh, one could say the loud colors are a cry for attention, letting the world know that Mummy didn't hold you enough as a child... And both would be wrong. There's no right or wrong color, just personal preference.
