Default Modified 718s - Post your pics!

Thought it would be a good idea to start a thread dedicated to modified 718s. Could become a good reference for people to get ideas for cosmetic and performance mods. If you have a modified 718, post some pics of your ride!

I agree. Mine doesn't have a lot yet, but I plan to slowly work on it for some time. It's a 2019 718 Cayman S. In has an AWE Exhaust (half track, half touring), an ZL1 add ons Black front tow hook, an EMC2 front splitter, a set of Recaro Pole Position fixed bucket seats, and soon will have a Heigo half cage and harnesses. Ultimately, I plan to add some sort of wing, whether a fixed one, or a ducktail, some sort of more aggressive splitter, probably GT4 type side scoops, lowering springs, an APR tune, etc. Also pictured is a dedicated set of Apex SM10 wheels in gunmetal with RE71 track tires. Of note, I partially daily drive this, use it for weekend runs, and as a track toy as well.

I have a 2019 S as well (white, so obviously faster) and am interested in some details about your front splitter such as fitment (DIY?) and clearance.

It looks good.

Thanks man. There’s a thread on this forum all about the splitter with more pics and info. Reasonably priced, total diy and the fitment is great. Mine is a stock suspension so no PASM or PASM sport but no issues with clearance whatsoever.

Great Idea! I just logged on to post an inquiry requesting comments from those who have increased tires sizes and saw your post, so I guess this would be the place to ask since it involves both a cosmetic and performance mod. (Hopefully this does not constitute hi-jacking, if yes let me know and I will retract the post.)

2018 GTS
Current tire sizes:
Front 235/35 ZR 20
Rear 265/35 ZR 20

Has anyone upsized to:
245/35 ZR 20
275/35 ZR 20?

I know that front lip fits the cut outs but it looks half arsed to me due to it's lack of coverage/length. It is not a 'seamless' look...it looks like an afterthought....your car is nice but this goes for everyone I've seen.

Do you have a clip of your exhaust? I have a stock exhaust in my 718BS and was thinking of that same set up. Any issues at dealership with maintenance and/or warranty? Really my only reservation 9oh and the sound of course)

A few shots of my GTS. I’ve done a number of suspension upgrades, Soul performance Sport cat down pipe and exhaust, half cage, recaro seats, Giro disc brakes and running track wheels 245’s up front and 305’s in the rear RE71r’s. Love the performance of the car and love chasing down GT3’s on track:-)

Not sure what I’m doing next. Maybe aero or a tune? Would love for the car to loose some weight, but not sure how to go about that. I weighed the car at my last SCCA TT event and she was 3,200lbs with 3/4 gas, no driver. Overall, I’m really impressed with this little car.

Me on track at Homestead. Lots of traffic but you can see how capable this car is.

305's, that a big upsize, are you running 19" or 20" wheels?

Nice driving. Don't we love traffic when we are passing them
