oh ok, a friend of mine has a spare 981 Eibach prokit springs and he’s offering $280 including the wheel alignment/fitment. However, I am unsure if it is unsuitable for 718.

No dangers per se, but you can expect decreased shock life and a diminishing ride quality over time. That has always been my experience with lowering cars via springs.

My current setup is:
DSC Sport Module
SPL LCAs
SPL Bump Steer
GT3 Sway Bars (front rear)
18' Titan7s
265/35/18 - 295/35/18 AR1s
F -2.8 Camber / R: -2.2 Camber 1/8 Toe
Sparco Seat
Vorsteiner GT4 Wing
Cobb Tune with GT3 PDK upgrade and BBi E-Tune

I'm looking to get the Ohlin Coil Overs and the BBi Half Cage- I was told the Tarett Camber Plates while not necessary pair nicely with the camber plates. Any feedback on anything else I should do? Also any feedback on the tires- I feel some slight understeer wondering if I drop to a 255 / 295 for the 18" is that a better setup.

Sounds like a nice setup.

With the understeer, I wouldn't have thought you'd get much with the 265s. I'd be checking your wheel offsets/track. I assume you have increased track quite a bit at the back but maybe not as much at the front? So I'd check that and space out the front wheels if need using your LCAs or wheel spacers. Or maybe the GT3 bars are not quite balanced for the Cayman, after all the GT3 has a lot more weight in the rear. I've also read softening the front end can help with understeer, even lowering tire pressures.

I'll be interested to hear what you find works. Did you consider the Tractive RT coilovers given you have the DSC?

Maybe Im the first Chinese 718 owner comment in ths forum. It is very pleasure to see worldwide porshce owner share idea and pics here, feeling so well.
Considering upgrade brake system in future to increase track day performance, maybe recaro bucket seat would be also included.
