My mods run to the mundanely practical. First off are Weather Tech floor liners for all the Porsches that get regularly driven. These keep the carpets from getting stained, dirty, and embedded with particles.

Next, my household has a seriously-first-world problem that has to be solved: Figuring out which key goes where:

The colored key blades are available from Amazon and are far better than the pricey Porsche painted key blades. The el-cheapo Amazon blades are molded in the color, while the Porsche blades are painted. The latter chip very easily.

Key cases in several shades of pLeather are available on e-bay.

Next https://magnagrafik.com/Products.aspx has a variety of magnetic stickers (each one adds 2 rwhp! ) some of which appeal to my mundanely practical side. (Not all products are listed in the catalogue: call him.)

Last, but most important, you're going to want a set of screens for the heat exchangers behind the front bumper cover:

Those pictured above are from Zunsport. If you decide to order from them, be very careful and triple-check: there are multiple variations of grills depending upon your 718's options. And, what you need may or may not be available. In particular, your GTS may have a different front cover?

Dave, is the 718 prepared for the floor liners, I am thinking about the bracket that it snaps into? Does it make any difference if the box is auto or manual. They look like a nice fit and those extended edges makes this solution appear much better compared to the OEM ones that I have bought for other cars.

The Weather Tech floor liners are based on laser measurements and are thus specific to each model of car.

PDK vs. MT will not matter.

And, yes, they are far better than the Porsche winter mats.

They will snap-in just like the OE ‘summer’ floor mats.

The WeatherTech floor liners were the first things I ordered for my wife’s 718 Boxster daily driver. They fit perfectly and snap into the OEM floor studs. They are a heavier material than lesser priced models.
