Actually it started too cold...too cold for a guy born and raised in Rio that lives in Miami! and it became steaming hot as soon as we get to Savannah - GA...

A lot of fun regardless of weather though...I think we could spend the night in Miami and drive all the way to California the very next day...and I'm pretty sure Freddy agrees with me!

Well.... if you guys ever decide to drive all the way to California, remember you have a place to stay and I PROMISE it will be woarm, no matter what time of the year

We'd even give you a place to park the 356 in the garage!!!

1500 miles from Troy MI at the border with Canada to Miami...
On Saturday morning I and Pedro had breakfast with our friend Neil Goldberg and many of his great friends (now ours as well!) and started the trip at 10 AM...
After 4 gas tanks or 1.000 miles we reach Savannah where a Porsche meeting was going on at the Holyday Inn there to leave again on the following morning at 10 AM...
getting close to Miami there were some dark clouds in the sky and we managed to escape from the heavy Miami summer rain through a perfect tunnel, except for a 20 seconds cloud that got us with the sunroof open and not enough time to close the windows and sunroof.... when we realized the rain was over... but it was enough to clean most of the bugs...
BTW we got the feeling from "Kill bugs fast"
What a great weekend!!
Now the car is clean and with the correct bits I wanted to add.
We did some shooting as well...the last one trying to escape from the rain was fun!!

Freddy, on your last picture, were you aux driving lights on as well? Your car lights up the road really well. I've never had a 356 with a nice and bright headlight beam like in your picture. I would be better off using my MagLight when driving my 356's at night. I guess its time for the Joe Leoni relays.

Absolutely get Joe Leoni's relays and the H4 bulbs from him. Its a quick and easy self install and it makes a world of difference. Get his starter relay too while you're at it. In fact, make sure you get his electrical book too - I can't imagine owning a 356 without it. Come on, just send Joe all your money!!

Super drive indeed...Freddy could lubricate the sunroof assembly once in a lifetime though!
