Hey guys, there is more than one of us who are looking for a good shop to work on our cars in the southwest. We need a little networking to keep us on the road so we can go out and play on the weekends with the rest of you. Love to get your recommendations. Thanks in advance for your help......Dave29

Dave, Have you posted on Pelican? I seem to recall a number of those guys being located in CO, referencing 356 specialists & early 911s... You may want to check into these guys, too...

CO has got to be great Porsche country!
best of luck.

Dave - Also a post on the 356 Registry Talk List might have a better chance of getting a reply.

I have talked to Tom Conway from Carquip here in Boulder when I was a young "cough" 14..
I have heard great things back in the day and he seemed very professional.

You may want to ask if anyone here knows Tom Conway and ask about their experiences with him. He is about 10 minutes from where I live so if I had a 356 he would be the care taker.

Good luck and welcome to Colorado

Dave,

There is a guy down in Abuquerque that is very good. I can't remember his name off the top of my head, but let me look into it. That is as close a P-car mechanic as there is to Durango.
