JoAnne, Sounds like the basis for a New Year's Resolution. Merry Christmas (& to Robert, too)!

Here's a coupla shots from a recent 356 Registry event we had (the A Coupe was esp nice, & note that the '73 S, the '87 Turbo-look Cab & the '09 Turbo were relegated to the back of the line)...

Default We have 356's in Denmark as well

Hi everybody...

I'm new to this part of Rennlist. My interest in this early Porsche icons (356's) have grown in the past months. I am the proud owner of a 964 (which is my dream car), and when I first bought it about a year ago I wasn't really interested in anything prior to 1985. I'm fairly young (25) and the 964 model was the one I had posters of in my room ever since I can remember. After becoming part of the "Porsche-network" I am pleased to have found that Porsche is so much more than "modern cars" - if you can call an 18 year-old car modern ;-)

I'm sure the 964 will always have a special place i my heart, but at the same time I feel that the 356 models are truly beautiful and iconic Porsches. One day I will expand my Porsche collection to include a 356 as well. I especially find the models prior to 1959 interesting. I'm trying to make up my mind which models and looks I like best. So far I've come to the conclusion that I like them old and very clean (aka no bumpers) - so pretty much mildly outlawed ;-)

I was looking through all 46 pages of this thread and found many beautiful photos. I wish you guys would give more info about the cars such as year and model, so that novices like my can learn in the process ;-) To contribute to this awesome thread I looked through my photos on the computer from various Porsche events this past summer. Enjoy, and please give me more info about the cars (including the one shown in my photos)....
