Understand that an oil change could run you $900 or so depending on how experienced your tech is at performing your oil change.
I guess ultimately it depends on how **** you are and how much you are willing to spend.

The inderbody panels must be removed. This is a daunting task as there are many, many screws of varying lengths that all must be torqued into the carbon monocoque. You do not want to mess up any of the threads on something like that. It is time consuming and fraut with liability issues for the servicing technician. $800-900 seems like the figure most have gotten.

Part of the difficulty is A) having a lift that will allow the CGT to be lifted
B) having the correct hold downs to keep the car from flipping backwards
other than that "it's a piece a cake"

I had mine changed at about 3000 miles (after maybe 1500 track miles). I like to change at least once a year, and/or after tracking a lot. It cost me about $500 at the P dealer.

Without a trip out to the garage to check the owners' manual, but based on memory, I believe Porsche suggests an oil change at 12 month intervals regardless of mileage. I know this is true for the GT2, GT3, 996 tt, etc.
Mine will becoming up in April - I hope my dealer is closer to the lower numbers mentioned!

The CGT isn't as rear heavy as a 911...why would it flip over backwards?
