World’s Worst Sign Smashes Porsche 918

Envision yourself in this Porsche 918 owner’s expensive shoes. You’re just about to set off on a long awaited Gumball Rally across a random continent in your coveted 918 hypercar, only to be stopped at the starting gate by an event sign smashing onto your roof.

Not only does this wreck your perfect paint job, but also you get to look forward to sending your Porsche in for body service after the Gumball event. I imagine repair expenses aren’t an issue so much, but de-virginizing the body panels for repair just because of a poorly placed sign is certainly upsetting.

This video just goes to show how anyone can have unexpected sad occurrences, even 918 owners. The real focus is refitting and painting the paneling evenly, smoothly, and up to showroom quality. I bet Porsche has well-versed specialists around the world just waiting to fix these uncommon structures.

Every event has a meaning, message, or some knowledge for you to learn from, so as to not be the same dumb human again. Our evolutionary mindset percolates seeing smart, dumb, and unaware people. We can learn from it all. I think, regardless of the poorly placed sign, this is more the case of an unaware driver. He could have seen the sign blowing in the wind, but he was mindless. A fair amount of the time ultra-luxury car owners are not really engaged in the sport or action of actually driving. Proper driver courtesy and etiquette includes making eye contact, searching the horizon for safety or space, and being action ready.
