Partnering with fintech company Cluno, Porsche’s new Porsche inFlow allows fans to drive pre-owned cars for a monthly rate.

Subscription services are a part of our lives, from newspapers and streaming content, to clothing and food preparation. Whatever products or services can be bought today has the potential for a monthly subscription, even cars.

If you happen to live in Germany, and are a fan of all things Porsche, you’ll soon be able to have a new car in your driveway via the Porsche inFlow subscription service.

“We want to offer our customers new options for vehicle use that are both flexible and attractive,” says Porsche Digital CEO Thilo Koslowski. “That is why we have developed an offer that is typical for Porsche: it offers premium mobility in a fast and simple way without having to purchase a vehicle.”

Aside from having a German address, all one needs to take part in Porsche inFlow is to pay a one-time fee of 299 euros ($339) to get started, then pay a monthly fee of 1,299 euros ($1,473) or more to have access to a select “young pre-owned” Porsche. The monthly fee covers insurance, warranty, registration, inspections, and maintenance. The subscriber only pays for fuel after the first tank, the minimum term is six months, and they can change cars with a three-month notice.

All of this is possible thanks to Porsche Digital’s partnership with Cluno, a mobility and fintech company based in Munich. The company already offers subscriptions to customers interested in owning a vehicle, but would prefer more flexibility than a lease or permanent ownership would offer.

“We are delighted about the cooperation with Porsche and are sure that we will be able to jointly create enthusiasm for Cluno and Porsche vehicles among many new customers,” said Cluno founder and CEO Nico Polleti. “We could not have imagined a better exclusive partner for the launch of the premium segment at Cluno.â€

Porsche inFlow is one of a few similar programs offered by Porsche, including the Porsche Host pilot program in the United States, where owners can rent out their cars to individuals for a short time via the Turo peer-to-peer car rental app.
