Nothing screams 911 like a Japanese body kit, right? Well, there is room in the Porsche community for every individual style, no matter how eclectic it may be.

The car in question is most certainly eclectic, to say the least. It is a 1991 Porsche 911 created by German tuning house, Koenig. Oddly enough, the car looks like something right out of the 90’s Japanese import scene, with a complete wide-body kit and Datsun-esque front end. This is the case because the car was one of eight examples made specifically for the Japanese market.

The car is dripping with unique touches, which some that you just won’t find on any other 911s, period. The back end is wide and boxy with a wing sizable enough to host a modest Thanksgiving dinner. You would almost be tempted to say it looks like the strange first cousin of a 959, but that is stretching things a bit. Aside from the “vocal” body kit, other exterior touches include 17-inch 5-spoke wheels and jet black paint, both of which seem to be free of any major issues.

Interestingly enough, the changes don’t stop with visual exterior touches–the engine was tweaked with an Albrex supercharger added to the original 3.6 liter flat six engine. Although there is no exact number on power output, Koenig assumes it to be in the neighborhood of 300 horses.

Recaro sport seats and an otherwise clean interior are the final pieces to the puzzle of this standout 911. Final perks? Only 11,800 miles on the clock, in addition to verification of authenticity from Walter Koenig himself. Write a check for $20,000 and it can be yours!
