Autocross, drifting, and even car limbo fills the gaps between checking out millions of dollars in Porsche machinery.

If you simply go by the name, you might think that the Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals are all about Japanese rides. And that’s pretty much the way things were in the early days of the event. But now, the mid-May extravaganza has expanded to include just about anything and everything, including some (gasp!) American cars. So naturally, it didn’t surprise us to come across a handful of cool Porsche vehicles this year.

With countless millions of dollars in rare and exotic machinery under one roof, it was almost like walking into some sort of boyhood dream. And of course, we spotted numerous Porsche vehicles there. From vintage 356s all the way up to modern 911s and even a Panamera or two.

They joined low car limbo, a burnout contest, and of course, a beauty contest for an action-packed day of fun.
