However, it’s not just comfort; KW claims the suspension upgrade can modify the compression stage for optimal turn-in behavior in the corners. Better yet, the brand says the sets arrive installation-ready. That’s welcome information for owners seeking to perform the install themselves. Moreover, KW says the sets don’t make the original torsion bars obsolete.

KW Classic representative Sascha Daucher is excited about the new KW suspension options. “When we introduced our modern KW V3 Classic dampers for the classic Porsche 911 (G Body), we seemed to have hit the zeitgeist,” Daucher explained. “Our program has dampers for the first Porsche 911 models from 1963 to 1973.”
