Jerry Seinfeld Auctioning Three Classic Porsches Worth Upwards of $9M

Seinfeld Porsche

Poor Jerry Seinfeld is parting with three beautiful Porsche classics. Then again, Poor Jerry is about to be about $9 million richer.

Seinfeld doesn’t really say why he’s parting with such beauty, other than to note that he still loves the Stuttgart stunners, and only wants them to go to a good home. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

“I just love cars. And I still love these cars. But it’s time to send some of them back into the world, for someone else to enjoy, as I have,” he said in a prepared statement, as reported by the L.A. Times.

1955 550 Spyder

The prize of the three Porsches is this 1955 550 Spyder. Unrestored, all original chassis, body, and four-cam engine with just 10,300 miles on the old ticker. Oh how you’d love to drive it right? Well, any guesses what’s she’s being valued at by Gooding & Co., the auction house in charge of March’s Amelia Island auction? I’ll end the suspense: $5 million to $6 million! That’s a lotta cups of coffee.

Porsche 958

But how’s Jerry’s going to say goodbye to this recently restored 1958 Porsche Carrera Speedster, one of 151 ever built? Well, an expected $2 million bucks or so should help.

1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR

And last but certainly not least, this 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR, originally owned by Roger Penske himself. So of course she was a contender in the 1970s. This baby’s got Riverside and Daytona links, and she’s expected to fetch upwards of $1.2 million.

The Times has a few more pretty pictures of the cars, so head on over and take a peek. Then let us know which one’s the best buy and yada yada yada…
