356 Devotion Offers Master Brake Cylinder for Porsche 964 C2

A replacement Master Brake Cylinder for the ’89-94 Porsche 964 C2 is now available, thanks to aftermarket company 356 Devotion.

Sometimes you need a very specific product to address a very specific issue. 356 Devotion’s 964 Master Brake Cylinder is a perfect example of this. This part is the main component providing braking power to stop all four wheels of the 1989-94 Porsche 964 C2 non-turbo, and it’s one no longer available from Porsche Classic. Which is when 356 Devotion stepped in.

The 356 Devotion master brake cylinder was reverse engineered to fit the vehicle exactly. The outer spring is made of Manganese or Hadfield steel, a mangalloy known for high impact strength wear-resistance. The outer layer of the cylinder body has been hard oxidized to discourage rusting. The cylinder is ready to be installed, and comes with two rubber bushings and two 90 degree plastic elbows. It was tested under room temperature, 1000±100 cycle an hour of stroke frequency conditions which showed that both cylinders built up to the pressure of 8.5Mpa.

All of this testing and engineering guarantees that in severe heat and pressure of multiple usages, the spring tension pressure will stay the same, it will not loose it’s original tension pressure.
