2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Prices Revealed, Starts at $161K

All-new Porsche 2022 911 GT3 will start at $161K and is one of the most formidable race-tuned 911s in the lineup.

Porsche 911 is a legendary sports car nameplate, and earlier on Tuesday, the Stuttgart-based car manufacturer announced the pricing of its 2022 911 model range. With the growing popularity of battery-powered vehicles, it is only a matter of time that Porsche will introduce an electrified version of its most popular nameplate.

According to a recent Autocar report, Porsche intends on developing combustion engine models in the future alongside hybrids and electric-only EVs as long as there is a demand for such offerings. This is good news for purists who have a soft spot for Porsche models that offer a more organic and natural performance. This is also the reason why the GT3 is one of the most popular variants of the Porsche 911.

The Germans car manufacturer has confirmed that the prices of the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 will start from $161,100. This is a significant price hike over its predecessor, considering that Porsche introduced its 2019 model year GT3 with a price tag of just $143,600.

The all-new 2022 911 GT3 is one of the most formidable race-tuned offerings in the 911 lineup and is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4-liter flat-six engine that produces 542 HP of power. The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 is available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard. The company will also couple the powerplant to an optional and highly-coveted 6-speed manual transmission for no additional cost.

The company has also announced that the entire range of 2022 Porsche 911 models will receive a wide range of updates over the previous-generation model. These updates will consist of the Porsche Communication Management interface, which is operated through a 10.9-inch touch screen.

The company first introduced its PCM interface in the all-electric Porsche Taycan and the new system offers an improved user experience. The 2022 Porsche 911 GT 3 also comes equipped with Apple CarPlay, which was also available on the previous-gen model.

The car’s infotainment system will also receive more features, and unlike the previous models, Porsche will offer its customers 3-years of complimentary trial access to several services. These connected services will include features like wired Android auto and the Porsche Connect service. Porsche Connect application includes features like radio plus, calendar, online map updates, navigation plus with real-time traffic information, and voice pilot with natural voice commands.
