Questions on Spyder RS options
I just got my allocation for a Sypder RS and I am working through my build. Here is where I am now:
The Build
Just a couple questions
1. Does the deviated stitching package change the color of the stitching on the roof? if so, do i need to slext either the gray or red stitching to have the color chabge when i select the deviated stitching plan?
2. Are the A pillars covered in Racetex with the Weissach package?
Anything else I am missing on my build? I have a 992.1 C4 GTS, but this is my first 718.

1. The roof stitching is separate from the deviated stitching option. Changing the roof stitch to something other than the gray or red would be CXX.
2. Yes, but there have been reports of people receiving bare pillars by mistake (!!)
Some things I would consider is removing the Sirius XM bump for a cleaner look (unless you are a diehard Sirius listener) and also get rid of the preparation for dash cam. The Porsche dash cam is terrible, and even after speccing this option it is still an expensive install. The rest is a matter of personal taste. You might get some comments on not taking the LWBS but with the heated seats you do extend the driving season..

Race Tex A pillar is standard regardless of options.
Sirius XM is an app on Carplay so even without the antenna you’re fine. Unless in the middle of nowhere, then you lose the signal.
The deviated roof is separate and not dependent on anything else.

It's my understanding that the phone compartment booster is really a separate subscription to your wireless carrier, so personally that's of limited use to only when I'm in the car and where I live I don't have problems with cell reception. Also agree on deleting the Sirius wart unless you really want it.

- Thanks for the heads up on XM. What does the wart look like? I do listen to it in my cars mainly bbc but it can be done in Carplay.
- I would love LWBS but I don't think i will fit. Going to give it a try when I head to dealer tomorrow. But I really want this to be a fun car to hope in and go, even run around town. I also worry about the hassle of LWBS. But let's see if I fit. 18 ways in my.911 are a good fit, but any smaller and I would be hurting.
- Yes definitely like heated seats being in the mid west.

Please avoid the wart via the deletion of antenna option. It’s terrible.
Here are some (old) pictures of my 2016 981 Spyder with the wart. Thankfully, I deleted it on my new Spyder RS.
Lots of pictures here (someone’s car previously for sale) and all over the internet.

Okay my 2 cents:
Options missing:
1) Deletion of xm (which you noted already)
2) Fire extinguisher
3) Painted key
4) Accent logos package. If yellow is your theme, the yellow stickers look great.
5) Brake calipers in black
6) Sun visors in race-Tex or leather. The standard ones are pretty bad (cheap feeling and looking rubberized/plastic coating)
7) In the interior section, depending on your budget and preference, there are many items that dress up the car if luxury and exclusivity are your goal.
8) Sure you don’t want leather steering wheel and leather shifter? This is personal preference.
Options I don’t like:
1) Blue wheels. They just don’t go with the white and the yellow. Many different colors going on. I recommend the black wheels with the yellow racing stripes with black calipers to execute your yellow theme. If you want yellow calipers, then just go with the zero cost option wheels painted in silver. But the black wheels with yellow stripe plus the yellow calipers is too much; the blue wheels with even black calipers just don’t look right on a white car with no blue theme. Now if you changed all your interior yellow to speed blue and shark blue everywhere, with blue exterior accent logos, that’d be okay (with black brake calipers). Under no circumstances should blue wheels go with yellow calipers. The blue wheels speak for themselves.
2) Partially painted hood. Almost everyone orders this option. But it makes the power dome accents (twin ridges on hood) disappear to the naked eye — optical illusion now makes the hood look flat. (I have the full carbon hood.) When it’s full painted or full carbon, the aggressiveness of the hood stands out. And you’ll save $1300.
3) Smartphone compartment. It’s a waste of money and does nothing. Many threads and discussions about this.
4) Windshield frame in matte black. You haven’t done black door handles or black wheels; you’ve chosen painted silver Porsche logo (which I like); I am not sure about blacking out the frame because blacked out isn’t the theme. Plus it’s a wrap from the factory, not painted. I’d save some money here.
Good luck!

Here's an example which does it more justice than the configurator.

Fair enough. Whilst I know you wanted a pop of colour, I personally think the painted satin aluminium against white when you have PCCB's looks awesome. Most people go black wheels with white, but I honestly think the bright silver is overlooked. Creates a pop of brightness rather than a pop of colour.
Here's an example which does it more justice than the configurator.
