Yet another 911 pre-production model frolics around Europe.

By now, it’s not exactly a secret that there’s an all-new 2019 Porsche 911 in the works. Heck, we’ve already seen multiple pre-production models driving all over Northern Europe’s wintry roads and even the Nurburgring. And now we’ve got a great video showing every angle of the latest 911 mule, courtesy of Auto Evolution.

Styling changes are, as usual with the 911, more evolutionary than revolutionary. The first thing an astute viewer will notice is the futuristic Mission E/Panamera-like taillight that looks like something lifted right off of a T.I.E. Fighter. Well, they’ll notice that and, of course, the massive active rear spoiler that spans almost the entire width of the car. Up front, changes are more subtle, save for a pair of small creases in the hood.

And it isn’t just visual changes that will grace the new 911. It’s believed to be riding on a new modular platform that will enable Porsche to build a hybrid version of the iconic car. Power for the base Carrera will come from the same 3.0 liter turbocharged flat six as the current car, but power will certainly rise with the new generation.

This sighting is just the latest in a bonanza of development for Porsche’s legendary sports car. We’ve now seen the 2019 model in coupe, cabriolet, and convertible form. And the automaker is also finishing up on both a new GT2 and GT3 RS. It sure is a good time to be a 911 fan.
