Default Headed to the Macan Forum!

Hi All -

Been a long-time Rennlister on the Cayman and 993 forums....and happy to say I will be joining this growing group. Locked in my order for a Macan S yesterday. Build includes:

Agate Grey over Black
18-way Sport Seats
PASM w/ Air Suspension
Infotainment
Premium +
Bose
Tow pkg
Body color blades
Black window trim
20" sport design wheels

Excited to add another Porsche to the family....and can't wait to take delivery in early September. Will post appropriate pics when that happens

Welcome...and to coin a well-worn phrase..."Is this a great place or what?"

thanks all...got the build confirmation today - had forgotten I checked the boxes for rear window sun shades, heated steering wheel (which I loved on my BMW)! its fun seeing some of you over here after "meeting" you on the other forums (ie, 993!).

On your build? Add Red seat belts to give the interior an accent of red. Looks really nice.

Add the comfort lighting. Consider checking out the dedicated macanfourm website. Lots of activity and community there with insight into all the little nuances. Might consider waiting until after your order locks as it will cost you 3-4k in added options.

And hopefully he'll let his dad drive it now and then...

Well, do consider the options suggested above. But, I doubt that you need Body color blades. They are virtually invisible on Gray and Dark Blue cars. I would get them on lightly colored cars for sure.

Thanks all. Found the Macan forum and did spend more on options . Was able to get ahold of PCNA and change my build to add comfort lighting and LCA. Goes into production July 17th!

I sold my 991S today and ordered a Macan. Have to wait until January. Black on black with all the normal extras that bump the price up. I think the utility value of the Macan is terrific and I look forward to a long and enjoyable ownership.

Hope you like yours better than I like mine. I'm entirely dissatisfied with my rattle trap.
