Default New Mesh Grill Inserts (996TT) by SpeedTech

We recently designed mesh inserts for the 996TT, which replace the plastic OEM slatted pieces. These are made out of aluminum hexagon material, powder coated black and water jet cut to shape. The goal was to design a grill that would cut down on debris entering the front radiator area, as well as improve the front end appearance of the 996TT. We have now road tested these for function/aesthetics and feel we have succeeded on both counts. Here are a few pictures.

Hi John,

How are those mounted? Is it possible to keep the stock ones and put the mesh behind?

Thanks!

Hi Berra,

The stock ones have to be removed - these replace them.

I think these look nice, but I'd be concerned about cooling.

coolings fine. they don't look unlike my home depot screens painted? but hey.. glws. its a vast improvement over vacuuming debris and fossilized bugs inside the fins of the radiators.

Tested. No reduction in cooling during extended mountain drives.
