Performed a boost pressure check to engine. Repaired two small leaks, venturi tube and breather hose to turbo sumps. Before testing had no boost problems but was more concerned with possible vacuum leaks.

Cracked 10k miles on the way to a frigid cars and coffee meet. Opened it up on the NJ turnpike and then saw a twin of my car as we were leaving. 2 yellow 2002 turbos driving one behind the other must have been some sight.

Filled my wing hydraulics with stop-leak/pentosin and rebled. Took a few times to get the air out and wing to raise evenly but overall not a hard job. Now I'm crossing my fingers this actually fixes the leak...

Almost went today, but took the opportunity to play golf this morning at the cc. Either choice would have been a win. Maybe I will see you at one of the future meets.

Funny, I saw an 04 turbo cabby like yours sporting techno's. There was a great turnout but it was cold. Wife and I were freezing and didn't stay too long. Some nice rides.

I installed these great looking clear side marker lenses I bought off eBay from a guy in Taiwan. They are much better looking then the OEM white or orange ones.

Trying to sell the turbo, got a ton of low ballers. The car lost $100k CAD due to depreciation.

Decided that is not worth selling. Gonna keep it forever.

Going into the shop.

Plans

4.0 Conversion
rebuild tranny, gears, clutch and flywheel
possible FVD turbo kit pushing 700hp
upgrade 6 pistion brakes
Last will be kit and wheels, but depending if worth the money to do so or stay sleeper.

Starting the process of getting the 996TT out of winter storage. Reinstalled battery, changed cabin filter, air filter, set tire pressure, input radio code. Need to get a good wash in and a few more things.....PCA swap meet next Saturday

Installed a midnight blue center console to match the body color and discovered I have a B&M short shifter.
