Thanks Jason! I should have my order together by mid next week, including 8 new bleeder valves!

Yes I use them, basically a bleeder with a one way valve built into them
here is example:

Ok, those look pretty cool. I use a Motive Power Bleeder which I absolutely love. I'm not sure these would offer much advantage over it though.

Glad you are in one piece, Slakker. The car can be fixed. Either way, I applaud your positive attitude and the example you set for the rest of us.

Yeah no kidding I would still be doing "Crappie Flops" in the gravel pit!

Wow....... good luck with phase 2, time to splash out on some carbon fibre panels...

Good to see you are ok and your sense of humor is still intact.

Thanks guys! Now I'm just itching to get it back. Next track day is March 11th. I know there's an extremely slim chance to have it back in order by then but one can always dream.

No carbon fiber in my future. I looked into it when I replaced my hood and it was double the cost of FRP and only saved an additional 1.5lbs. It does look really cool though.

Get it back together quick for the PCA track day at Heartland Park April 22-23rd. I'm registered.

Thanks man! I'm on a mission to get her back together.

Sold the M030 suspension on my DD to a RL'er in Austin yesterday(7 hour drive). Also, found THE salvage yard that has all of the body parts, brackets, radiators, and wheel carriers I need to fix the track car for $350 cash but won't ship body parts. The body shop in Sherman TX can start on my car today if they have the replacement door and fender. So, pulled the M030 suspension and drove to Austin last night. I'll deliver them this morning, use the shipping money to pay for diesel, then get the salvage parts and head north. Unfortunately there isn't going to be room in the pickup to swing by COTA and grab the barriers though.

Quote of the day from Woody at Woody's Salvage Yard in Bastrop TX.

"I really try to bend over backwards for racers, they provide lots of repeat business."

I use them on everything, motorcycles and cars, along with a power bleeder. if not wanting to use the power bleeder, i use the thick fiber old style wheel bearing grease around the bleed screw to keep air from getting back thru the threads, then it becomes a one man job and grease cleans off when done,
