Another item to consider is product support. Say you're bashing around and break a wheel off of that Excalibur. I don't think they sell replacement parts. You might end up throwing it in the trash. With Tamiya (or any other hobby-grade car, HPI, Kyosho, etc.) there is plenty of manufacture and aftermarket support for parts to repair, maintain, and upgrade the car.

As far as the details in the OP picture (white car), it shouldn't be too hard. The lexan body probably comes with pre-cut tape for the windows. All the decals are included to add the detail to the headlights and tailights. The only challenging part may be doing the pinstripe on the body lines. Gotta buy a fine tip marker at the hobby store and go for it. If you mess up, clean it off with some rubbing alcohol and try again.

Question for anyone that bought one. Does it come with any decals or is it just plain etc.
I think the original came with Taiwan graphics etc.

Thanks for any feedback. Will probably have to pick one up.

The Tamiya kit comes with the decals as shown on the box.
