Default Love it or hate it, my 993 build

Been building this for almost 2 years now and it just hit the street so thought i would share. Its got a 12v vr6 swap with a HX35 turbo running C2 software. Im only running 10psi now and when i work the kinks out i'll fab up a manifold to get the turbo below the frame rail. Shooting for 600whp. The car was pretty wiped out when i got it and had no drive train. I have all the stuff to paint it jet black but i'll wait until i can get metal fenders instead of these fiberglass fenders that fit kinda crappy.

I like the current paint scheme a lot.

And I'm glad you didn't take a pristine example and put an RWB body kit on it, or some similar crime.

I donno, dropping a VW VR6 motor into a 993 is pretty close.. I really hope this is a 70s 911 with fiberglass 993 body panels!

Huge props for doing something nobody else has!

No, if he'd removed the flat six and replaced it with the V6 you'd be on to something. But it had no drivetrain.

Think of it as a throwback to the very first Porsches. With the engines made from stuff left over from the VW parts bin.

definitely not a pristine example lol the last guy used it as a track rat and after taking it down to bare metal i think it even had a roof grafted on it.

As far as the Vr6, well, add a big turbo and it'll make most "fast" cars look stupid at a fraction of the cost and thats tough to beat

well, thats...interesting

oh and 600whp isn't going to get it done against truly fast cars.

Now that's what I call a retractable wing!

I like it. Not every 911 needs to be completely original. Projects like this are fun and bring life to cars that wouldn't otherwise have it.
