I think the rear is starting to look more 928ish than 911. Anyone besides me see that? (All they have to do is section the taillights into thirds vertically.)

Looking at the picture, seems the longer wheelbase might mostly contribute to more spacious rearseat... The tinted area at the back side window behind the b-pillar creates an illusion in the picture for a smaller cabin, though.

Longer wheelbase helps reduce EPA requirements. The freaking Corvette is almost exempt based on track and wheelbase. Government motors and the $#@! EPA no doubt collaborated.

I think those wheels look like 20"s (judging by the appearance of the brakes). There is no obvious reference point in the photo for size, but it looks like they increased everything by 5-7%, even down to the doorhandles & mirrors to fool the eye. Hopefully it won't look as big as a GTR when seen in the metal.

The 100mm (4") wheelbase increase has been discussed ad nausea. Yeah, I do not like it. But I, and many here, are in the minority. I am sure the new car will be a great performer, it just won't be as go-kart as we like it.
The 991 spy shots are becoming closer to reality. The car has a stretched Jag XK look and the front hood is a pregnant/round (a la Beetle hood) to satisfy EU pedestrian regs. Oh well!
